Mortars strike Damascus, killing as many as 4

DAMASCUS, Syria (AP) - Mortar shells hit several parts of Damascus, on Tuesday, killing four people, a government official, while anti-regime activists said Syrian troops took control of a district in the central city of Homs, which is considered a symbol of opposition to the regime of President Bashar al-Assad.
